Gorantla Ravikumar, the esteemed Chairman of the renowned Sri Harshini Group of Educational Institutions, is a visionary educator and leader who has made significant contributions to the field of education. Beginning his career in 1994 with a master’s degree in Mathematics from Andhra University, he quickly gained recognition as an exceptional Mathematics lecturer in various Junior Colleges in Ongole. His passion for teaching and dedication to student success led him to establish the Institute of Mathematics (I.O.M) in 1995, which became a premier coaching center for competitive examinations. Under his guidance, I.O.M achieved remarkable milestones, including securing the state 1st rank in MCA in 2000 and the 6th rank in 2006, earning accolades from the then Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Sri Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy.

Driven by his commitment to holistic education, Ravikumar Gorantla founded Sri Harshini Degree College in Ongole in 2003, followed by G.R.K. Degree College in Maddipadu in 2005, and Sri Harshini Educational Institutions (KG to PG) in Martur in 2007. These institutions stand out for their innovative approach to education, integrating Reasoning, Arithmetic, and Communication Skills in English into the regular curriculum. These skills are essential for students to excel in entrance exams for postgraduate courses and secure employment. Additionally, the colleges are known for organizing on-campus placement drives for final-year degree students, ensuring they are well-prepared for the professional world.
